At approximately 8:30 p.m. on this date, the Cullison Fire Department, Pratt County Emergency Services, and Pratt County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched 100223 SW 20th St., in SW Pratt County to the report of a residence on fire.

On arrival fire crews found the residence fully engulfed in flames. The residence was a camper trailer.  After the fire was extinguished a body was found in the ruble and is believed to be the 68 year old male that lived at the residence.  No name is being released pending notification of next of kin.

An autopsy has been ordered and the Kansas Fire Marshall has been notified. The Pratt County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the fire.
