At approximately 1:02 P.M. Pratt County Emergency Services, Pratt County Rescue, and the Pratt County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to an injury accident at the intersection of NE 60th St., and NE 70 Ave.
On arrival officers found a 2005 International tanker truck, owned by Southwest Cooperative, its side north of the intersection and in the right ditch. The driver 60 year old William Blomander, of Ulysses had crawled out of the cab. He was transported to Pratt Regional Medical Center.
A 2011 Ford F-250 pickup, owned and driven by Donald Fisher, 65, of Preston, was also north of the intersection and in the right ditch. Fisher had to be extricated and was transported to a Hutchinson hospital.
Life Team was called from Hutchinson to assist in the transports.
The truck was northbound and the pickup was eastbound at the time of the collision.
The Pratt County Sheriff’s Office investigated the accident.
