Two people have died and one hurt in a crash in Pratt County.
The accident happened shortly before 8 a.m. Thursday on K-61 about a mile east of the town of Preston. That's about 13 miles northeast of Pratt.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said a Ford Econoline van was heading southbound on K-61 when it crossed the center line and sideswiped a semi. The van continued in the northbound lane and hit a Toyota Prius head-on.
The driver of the Prius, 39-year-old Teresa Roach of Pratt, and a passenger in the van, 32-year-old Alan Stagg of Salina, died at the scene.
The woman driving the van, 22-year-old Yvonne Butticci of Salina, was taken to Wesley Medical Center where she is currently listed in critical condition.
The driver of the semi was not hurt.
