The shooting that occurred earlier today in Pratt County was the result of an accidental shooting.  Two juvenile boys, 15 & 16 years old, were target practicing in an area south of the Ninnescah River and east of Lemon Park in Pratt.  A 42 year old homeless man was sleeping behind a trash barrel that was being shot into and was struck in a leg by one of the rounds.  The boys called for help and cooperated with the investigation.  The victim was taken to Pratt Regional Medical Center where he was being treated for a gunshot wound.

No names will be released in this incident and the case will be sent to the Pratt County Attorney for further review.
