Several phone calls have been made to Pratt citizens today from a man claiming to be with the City of Pratt electrical department.  The caller tells the intended victim, you owe ex amount of dollars and if you don’t send your money today, your electricity will be cut off.

So far no callers have sent money. Pratt City or Pratt County will never call billing you or threatening to cut off services.  If you receive one of these calls, just hang up on them.  If you receive call from anyone you do not know, or one who claims to be from the government and demanding money, HANG UP, do not talk to them, do not give them any information.

There is not a safe way to talk to strangers on the phone it’s your phone, control who talks to you on it!  The same as those who come to your door, if you don’t know them, don’t open the door and talk to them,
