New Website Design

 Pratt County Sheriff’s Office Launches New Website Design

 

 

The Pratt County Sheriff’s Office launched a new website in April 2010 and launched a new design on February 12, 2014 where residents can find the latest information regarding the operations of the Sheriff’s Office.   The new Website will serve as an information resource for the public and assist with community policing efforts.

 

One of the main goals of the Website, prattcountysheriff.com, is to provide information to the public about registered offenders living in the County. The interactive map feature on the Website allows the public to view registered offender locations on a map as well as view offender photos and profile information about the offenses committed.  Site visitors can also click on a list of the offender’s names to view their profile information.

 

There are over 9000 unique visitors to the site each month, and over 100,000 each year.  Visitors can view Press Releases, Messages from Sheriff Vernon Chinn and information on the different services of the Sheriff’s Office, as well as a link to submit crime tips via email

 

The new website design features a new Crash Log that allows the public to view locations where crashes have occurred in Pratt County. The crash log displays icon pinpoints for Non-Injury, Injury and Fatality crashes. Visitors may choose to view all crash types or select to view by specific crash type in a selected date range.

 

There are also new Special Alerts that will show on the home page when there’s a missing person, missing child, or any other special notification.  If a resident has signed up for alert notifications from the Sheriff’s Office via email –press releases, messages from the Sheriff, most wanted updates, and/or jail roster updates – then they will automatically receive notifications for the new Special Alerts.
